Technical Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced Technical Inside Sales Representative to support outside sales teams, manufacturers, and customers. The ideal candidate has 13+ years of inside sales or customer service experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of quotes, orders, and customer interactions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate proposals, quotes, and pricing for customers and sales representatives.
• Provide technical product information and recommend equipment based on customer needs.
• Support order entry, order changes, and post-order customer service.
• Work closely with outside sales, manufacturers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate information.
• Manage customer issues, returns, credits, and warranty requests.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Build strong customer relationships and support long-term customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of inside sales, technical sales, or customer service experience.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn product applications.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical specifications preferred.
• 4-year degree preferred; 2-year degree considered.
