Associate Director, Product Management

An innovative San Diego-based genomics company is developing a next-generation platform for target detection, focused on sepsis, pathogen identification, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). We're looking for a Product Manager to own product strategy and commercialization for this platform — a hybrid product + marketing role spanning RUO, LDT, and IVD development phases. What you'll own: Product strategy and roadmap, translating clinical/VOC insight into requirements Business cases, financial models, and competitive analysis to guide investment decisions Go-to-market strategy — positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch planning End-to-end product launches and post-launch adoption tracking Cross-functional partnership across engineering, assay, regulatory, and commercial teams What we're looking for: 8+ years of product management/marketing experience in diagnostics or life sciences Hands-on experience with IVD and LDT development Track record building business cases and driving GTM strategy from concept to commercialization Molecular diagnostics experience in sepsis/pathogen ID strongly preferred Comfortable operating with autonomy in an early-stage, fast-moving environment $150K–$205K base salary, depending on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr BioTalent
