Associate Scientific Director, HEOR
Neurocrine Biosciences
Responsibilities
- Design and execute disease-specific HEOR and epidemiological studies with minimal supervision
- Lead product launch evidence generation strategies leveraging real-world data insights
- Develop written reports, manuscripts, and presentations communicating research outcomes to stakeholders
- Oversee data collection, analysis using systematic methods, and literature synthesis activities
- Mentor internal staff and external consultants while collaborating across clinical, safety, and commercial teams
Requirements
- Master's in public health/life sciences with 12+ years experience, or PhD with 5+ years experience
- Expertise in health economics, outcomes research, and epidemiology
- Advanced proficiency with statistical programming tools like R, SAS, or STATA
- Demonstrated experience analyzing large commercial claims and real-world datasets
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and medical writing
- Leadership capability to mentor teams and manage external consultants
- Excellent project management and data synthesis skills
