Associate Scientific Director, Translational Medicine - Neurology

Responsibilities
- Establish translational strategies for neurology programs from preclinical research through late clinical development
- Lead clinical biomarker efforts including vendor selection, method development, protocol integration, and data analysis
- Provide disease biology expertise to clinical teams and support study design, protocols, and statistical analysis plans
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to validate biomarkers and ensure fit-for-purpose assay development
- Author biomarker sections of regulatory documents and prepare scientific abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations
Requirements
- BS/BA in Biology, Chemistry, or related science with 8+ years experience; or Master's with 6+ years; or PharmD/PhD with 5+ years
- Deep expertise in experimental medicine and biomarker development across multiple areas
- Experience with immunoassay development and GxP-based biomarker platform deployment
- Working knowledge of FDA bioanalytical method validation guidance and regulatory aspects
- Extensive CRO collaboration experience for clinical assay development and sample testing
- Knowledge of FDA BEST resource and surrogate endpoint evaluation
- Demonstrated translational science expertise and regulatory filing experience
Compensation: $173,600-$237,000 base salary, plus 30% target annual bonus and equity-based long-term incentives
