Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 19:00

Experience: Minimum of 18 months required

License: Must be in hand prior to start date

Certifications: BLS, ARRT required

Must-Have:

• Previous experience with various X-ray procedures.
• Ability to work with special equipment such as Konica U-arm, Phillips, EOS, OEC, Dornier, and Zheim.
• Experience working with a daily caseload of 30-75 patients.

Description:

The position requires the X-Ray Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures. Daily responsibilities include working with walk-in patients and conducting fluoroscopy procedures. Special procedures such as Modified Barium Swallows and Urodynamics may be included. Staff members will work closely with another technologist to ensure patient care and efficiency. Technologists will adhere to infection prevention protocols and maintain radiation safety standards. A basic understanding of charting systems, particularly Cerner, is beneficial. Candidates should be familiar with various patient demographics, including neonates and pediatrics. Floating within the facility or to affiliate facilities is required. Candidates must be prepared to work weekends with coverage on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Compliance with all facility policies and procedures is expected. Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong communication and patient care skills.
