Asistente de Maestro de Apoyo Intensivo de ED (Grados: K-6)

Responsabilidades Ayudar al maestro a preparar materiales de instrucción y exhibiciones en el aula. Ayudar a mantener un aula ordenada y limpia y preparar el aula según las necesidades de los estudiantes. Ayudar con el inventario, cuidado y mantenimiento del equipo. Ayudar al maestro a mantener registros administrativos y preparar informes requeridos. Proporcionar orientación y asistencia a los maestros sustitutos. Asistir a estudiantes con discapacidades físicas según sus necesidades, incluyendo el traslado hacia y desde sillas de ruedas, levantar o posicionar. Asistir a estudiantes con necesidades físicas y cuidado personal, incluyendo alimentación, necesidades de baño e higiene personal. Ayudar con el currículo del aula. Ayudar a gestionar el comportamiento de los estudiantes, lo que incluye intervenir en situaciones de crisis y restringir comportamientos disruptivos o peligrosos de los estudiantes según sea necesario. Asumir la responsabilidad de aprender y adaptarse a las necesidades médicas, físicas, comunicativas y emocionales especiales de cada estudiante. Trabajar con estudiantes individuales o grupos pequeños para desarrollar habilidades motoras y realizar ejercicios de instrucción asignados por el maestro. Ayudar a supervisar a los estudiantes durante todo el día escolar, dentro y fuera del aula, incluyendo el comedor, autobús y patio de recreo. Mantener informado al maestro sobre necesidades especiales o problemas de estudiantes individuales. Mantener la confidencialidad. Participar en programas de capacitación para el desarrollo del personal, reuniones de facultad y eventos especiales según se asigne. Realizar todas las demás tareas y deberes asignados. Se requiere asistencia regular y puntual en el lugar de trabajo para este puesto. Flexibilidad para hacer frente a los desafíos de un mundo en rápida transformación.
