Cost Accounting Manager

Responsibilities Working in a standard cost environment. Implementing and/or controlling: Bills of material. Routings. Automated labor tracking. Inventory valuation/control. Labor & overhead rate analysis. Product costing. Variance analysis. Coordination and management of costing system at multiple locations. Traveling to other locations and corporate headquarters as required. Directly managing multi-department process, including accounting, engineering, sales, manufacturing, purchasing. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of accounting/finance experience with major emphasis on cost accounting, working in a standard cost environment. Ability to collaborate with, and take charge of, a multi‑person team. Work experience in a manufacturing company, preferably specializing in metal fabrication.
