Description Specialization: Neurology Job Summary: HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its growing Neuroscience Program in Gainesville, Florida. Qualified Candidates: Board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Prior neuroscience, neurosurgery, or neurointerventional experience required Position Highlights: Outpatient, clinic-based role Focus on the evaluation and management of neurosurgery and neurointerventional patients High degree of autonomy with exposure to a diverse and complex patient population Collaborative practice environment within a large, multidisciplinary neuroscience team Some call responsibilties Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations Evaluate and prepare patients for surgical intervention Complete preoperative assessments and surgical workups Manage medication refills and prescription requests Provide ongoing outpatient follow-up and patient care coordination Join a thriving neuroscience team and work alongside experienced neurointerventionalists and a neurosurgeon in a highly collaborative environment, providing cutting-edge neurological care to a diverse patient population.
