Dock & Door Sales Representative

Dock & Door Sales Representative
We're looking for a Dock & Door Sales Representative to continue to grow our Dock & Door division. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker with a technical background, and has a passion for building long term customer relationships.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and grow customer relationships in the commercial and industrial sectors
- Promote and sell dock equipment and overhead door systems
- Travel to customer sites to gather specs and provide accurate, customized quotes
- Prepare and present proposals, close deals, and meet revenue goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Track industry trends, competitor activity, and new product developments
- Maintain accurate sales activity records and forecasts
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and follow-through
What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Proven sales experience - dock & door industry experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, bid packages, and site specs
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Technical understanding of dock and door systems and components
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
