CAREGIVER/ PERSONAL CARE AIDE

Position Summary The Caregiver / Personal Care Aide provides non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors and individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions. This role plays a vital part in improving clients' quality of life while ensuring a safe and supportive home environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting) Provide companionship and emotional support Perform light housekeeping and laundry Prepare meals and assist with feeding Support mobility, transfers, and daily activities Provide medication reminders (non-medical) Accompany clients to appointments and errands Observe and report changes in client condition Follow care plans and agency policies Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Authorized to work in the U.S. Previous caregiving or CNA experience preferred (not required) Reliable transportation preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, dependable, and patient Ability to assist with lifting (25–50 lbs) Preferred Skills CPR / First Aid Certification Dementia or Alzheimer's care experience CNA or HHA certification Bilingual is a plus Schedule Options Full-time / Part-time Live-in / Overnight shifts PRN (as needed) Weekend availability preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $18–$20/hour Weekly pay (direct deposit) Flexible scheduling Ongoing training and development Supportive team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr EmergencyMD
