In Greater Savannah, GA, you will be the expert who keeps a state-of-the-art automotive manufacturing operation running at peak performance. This direct-hire position entrusts you with diagnosing and repairing complex industrial equipment while prioritizing safety, quality, and uptime.

You’ll begin with proactive checks—monitoring startups to catch issues before they become downtime. From there, your shift might include:

• Executing preventative maintenance to reduce unplanned stoppages
• Troubleshooting PLCs, drives, control devices, automated lubrication, material handling systems, and robotics/AGVs
• Listening to and inspecting machines to pinpoint malfunctions; dismantling assemblies with hand and power tools to access components
• Repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; realigning motors, gearboxes, clutches, and brakes
• Cutting, threading, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic piping
• Welding, brazing, soldering, grinding, and fabricating parts on lathes and drill presses as needed
• Modifying robot and motion profiles via PLCs, robot controllers, and teach pendants
• Collaborating with specialists and leadership; creating sketches or CAD-assisted designs for improvements
• Verifying successful repairs with live operation tests and documenting work to meet BMS, EMS, and SMS requirements

• Pay of +$33 per hour

• Rotate between 1st and 2nd shift every 4 weeks
• 8-hour shifts with overtime and occasional weekends, as needed

Required: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• 2-year Technical Degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Electricity, or Industrial Electronics
• Hands-on background with electricity/electrical applications and PLCs
• HVAC/R, plumbing/pipefitting experience
• Exposure to welding, pneumatics, mechanical systems, machine tool practices, industrial machinery, hydraulics, schematics, CNC, robotics, and servos
• Multi-skilled maintenance capability and experience in highly automated or automotive manufacturing

• Multi-craft troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic domains in a fast-paced setting
• Proactive mindset with urgency in production environments; strong English communication (written and spoken)
• Blueprint/schematic reading; operating powered equipment per standards
• Team-oriented, yet able to work independently; willingness to learn multiple processes
• Domestic and international travel, as required
• Complete a computer assessment prior to interview

• Cutting-edge facility with advanced robotics, AGVs, and PLC-based systems
• Manufacturing conditions may be noisy, hot, and require PPE

• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Manual dexterity for tools and machinery; climbing ladders and stairs
• Use of visual and auditory abilities to maintain safety and communicate
• Prompt and regular attendance
