Travel Physical Therapist - $2,102 per week

Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Fort Myers, Florida. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a PT, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and executing a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Your tasks include: Overseeing supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Billing within the respective setting following guidelines for the facility Understanding the respective PT board’s rules and regulations, complying with state requirements Interfacing with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care Understanding adaptive equipment Evaluating and creating a plan of care Modifying plan of care as indicated based on a patient’s condition Using Medical Center computer systems in the performance of daily tasks Providing timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Qualifications Must have at least 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply). Applicants should hold BLS certification and a state‑specific license in good standing. Physical therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods, and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. They must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Compensation Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
