You arrive, diagnose a sealed-system fault, consult live with the Chick-fil-A Technical Assistance Team , and have the line back on pace before guests notice. Your impact

• Own end-to-end service: troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and remove commercial kitchen equipment.
• Keep mission-critical assets online — commercial cooking equipment, sealed refrigeration, specialty foodservice equipment, and base building HVAC.
• Hit SLAs by responding quickly and professionally to Operator service requests.
• Expertly handle equipment from Henny Penny, Follett, Lennox (HVAC), Traulsen, Hobart mixers, Champion dishwashers, and Garland grills.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for diagnostic support and accurate parts identification; install parts precisely.
• Document every step: work orders, time, receipts, and truck stock via mobile tools.
• Maintain an organized vehicle, toolset, and parts inventory that reflect your craftsmanship.
• Cover on-call emergencies during non-standard hours as needed.
• Champion safety — follow safe work practices and accident-prevention procedures.
• Advance continuously with OEM training and certification programs; collaborate with equipment partners, suppliers, and vendors.
• Consistently meet productivity standards.

What it takes to succeed

• Technical trade education and/or robust hands-on background; 5+ years in a related trade (or equivalent).
• Strength in one or more: sealed refrigeration/HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, hot-side cooking systems, or mechanical power transmission.
• Experience maintaining kitchen equipment, facilities, or construction systems.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record (MVR required); comfortable operating company vehicles.
• Ability to read diagrams/schematics ; strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and mobile service applications; clear communicator — written and verbal.
• Self-starting, independent, and service-minded.

Territory, travel, and schedule

• 100% travel within your defined local market.
• Limited overnight travel, focused on onboarding and training.

Physical realities of the work

• Work extended periods during emergencies or priority situations (including overtime).
• Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders/stairs up to two stories (ladder safety training provided). Roof access ladders are on-site; van loading/unloading of a large ladder is not typical.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Long stretches of standing and walking on even and uneven surfaces.
• Frequent arm, wrist, and hand use operating tools and machinery.
• Indoor/outdoor work across varying weather conditions.
