Python Developer
Location: Must be onsite in McLean, VA. Hybrid - 3+ days per week. Extension/Conversion: This is a contract position, currently fully funded through EOY. No plans for extension or conversion at this time.
Must Haves: 3+ years of Python, Pandas, NumPy, Docker, OCP, Kubernetes, Jenkins, UNIX scripting, SoapUI and Postman.
Job Description
FACS python developer: Develop REST/JSON based web services using Python/Flask. Create docker images and deploy images to Open Shift Container platforms. Automate deploying and monitoring processes using Jenkins. Conduct model tie-out, regression, integration testing to deliver quality software. Continuously update software to fix security vulnerabilities. Create unit tests using PyUnit. Support multiple micro services and integration with other enterprise applications. Profile application and improve performance to keep strict SLAs. Supports performance and stress testing with other IT applications. Follow software engineering standard methodologies to build modular and sustainable model related services. Coordinates with business, model and IT users to resolve production issues.
Minimum Requirements: BS in Computer Science or any quantitative field. 3+ years in python. Experience with Pandas and NumPy.
