Performance Responsibilities:

1. Implement screening procedures to identify speech/language impaired students in assigned school.
2. Assess communication skills of students using diagnostic procedures and related information.
3. Plan and implement procedures to change deficient communication skills.
4. Direct speech/language articulation, voice, and fluency therapy.
5. Collaborate with teachers and monitor students' progress.
6. Plan instructional programs.
7. Conduct and participate in the evaluation study, eligibility, screening, etc.
8. Prepare speech and language evaluation reports and related records.
9. Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

1. Hold a master's degree in Speech/Language, Speech Pathology, or Communication Disorder
2. Holds a current license in Speech Language Pathology or is eligible for licensure from the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology

Salary Based on the 2024-2025 Speech Pathologist Salary Based on a 200-day contract
