Collaborating with acclaimed mixologist Valentino Longo, our bartenders bring world-class technique and creativity to each pour, delivering a beverage program recognized among North America's finest.

With passion for hospitality and precision in craft, the Lounge Bartender ensures every guest and resident feels at homewhether starting their day with a morning coffee, enjoying an afternoon spritz, or savoring an evening cocktail. This role requires more than skill behind the bar: it calls for storytelling, attention to detail, and a warm presence that transforms a simple drink into a memorable moment.

What you will do:

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to recipes.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the server using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed orders with guest's original order.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, Armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.

What you bring:

• At least 2 years of high-volume bartending experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits. Ability to upsell.
• Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera and Micros POS preferred/is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs.
