Precision CNC Vertical Milling Specialist

Location: Pennsauken, NJ | Reports to: Operations Manager Step into Werko Machine Company’s climate‑controlled job shop and own the milling process from program to part. In this full‑time, first‑shift role, you’ll translate prints into CAM toolpaths, set up Haas vertical machining centers, and guide operators to achieve repeatable, high‑precision results. If you’re organized, reliable, and mechanically savvy—with expert‑level CAM programming ability—you’ll thrive here. What you’ll tackle Create and optimize CNC programs and support operators through setup and production on VMCs. Run first‑article and in‑process inspections; confirm dimensions with micrometers, calipers, and other gauges. Read and interpret drawings/specifications and sample parts; determine tolerances, operation sequences, and setup requirements. Collaborate professionally—clear communication, teamwork, and a polished, dependable work style. Follow written work instructions and verbal guidance to execute machining tasks safely and correctly. Be punctual and consistent with attendance; complete assignments on schedule. Tackle additional tasks as needed to keep jobs moving. What you’ll bring Fluent CNC programming using CAM software (required). Hands‑on setup and operation experience for vertical milling. Organized, dependable, and mechanically skilled approach. Preferred: multi‑axis CNC background; CAD/CAM familiarity; experience producing custom or high‑precision components. Tools and tech Haas CNC vertical machining centers (3–4 axis VMCs). Autodesk Fusion 360 for CAM. Precision metrology: micrometers, calipers, and related inspection tools. Schedule Full‑time, first shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM Occasional overtime based on production needs.
