Benefits Package Employees receive 23 paid days off per year (184 hours), equal to more than 4½ full weeks of paid time away from work: 80 hours PTO 40 hours paid sick time 8 paid holidays + 2 additional paid days 100% employer-paid Health, dental, and vision 3% retirement match ACAC corporate gym membership (employee pays $46/month) Company vehicle + fuel allowance (role-dependent) Skills & Competencies Strong framing skills: new homes, additions, structural layout Proficient with TJI®, LVLs, beams, and Weyerhaeuser Framer Series® lumber Able to build stick-framed roofs, set engineered trusses, and execute cornice work Window and door installation (new and replacement) to manufacturer specs Solid planning, sequencing, and problem-solving Calm, professional crew leadership Ability to mentor apprentices consistently Comfortable with email, mobile apps, timekeeping, and daily reporting Qualifications 12+ years in the carpentry trade 5+ years running projects or leading crews Ability to read plans and build from layout through completion Valid driver’s license Strong communication and professional conduct Position Summary As a Lead Carpenter, you’ll: Run day-to-day site operations Perform high-level carpentry independently Coordinate with the project manager, subs, and inspectors Stay ahead on materials and schedule Keep a clean, safe, organized job site Lead and mentor apprentices Submit basic daily reports and photos through company apps Further details on responsibilities, logging expectations, and workflow will be reviewed during interviews. #J-18808-Ljbffr Genesis Contracting
