Adjunct Faculty - Department of English

The Department of English at Rowan University seeks to create apool of adjunct faculty qualified to teach general-education andEnglish major courses in US, British, and Global Anglophoneliterature. We also occasionally have teaching openings inChildren’s Literature, Young Adult literature, American EnglishGrammar, and other specialized major courses. Depending uponscheduling needs, adjunct faculty may teach up to two courses persemester. Qualifications M.A. or Ph.D. in English or a relateddiscipline; college-level-teaching experience preferred. In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay TransparencyAct, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan Universityadjuncts are provided with a minimum of $1,975 per credit for allcourses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits persemester and 12 credits in an academic year.
