Seeking a talented Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who thrives in a school-based environment to work with students during the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers the ability to make a positive impact through collaboration, creativity, and evidence-based interventions, while supporting students in achieving their communication goals.

This full-time role will run from as soon as possible through June 4, 2027, with a standard Monday-Friday schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The district has flexibility to consider two SLPs or one SLP and one SLPA, but an SLP is required in either model. You’ll play a key part in evaluating and treating students, with caseload assignments based on your experience.

Qualifications:
• Active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Prior SLP experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
• Experience using and supporting assistive listening technology
• Willingness and qualifications to supervise an SLPA, if needed
• Team player who communicates well with educators, families, and students
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans aligned with IEPs
• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students
• Document progress and maintain timely, compliant records
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families
• Supervise and support the work of an SLPA if the team structure calls for it
• Consult on and implement assistive technology for students as needed
