A full-time Member Relationship Specialist provides exceptional face-to-face member service in our branch locations. Position hours vary between:

• 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday
• 8:30 am - 2:30 pm Saturday

requests. * Passionate about financial education and finding solutions. Essential Functions and Responsibilities 1. Personally, provides exceptional member service; uses Service Standards in every work-related interaction. 2. Actively participates in meeting the goals of the department and the Credit Union. 3. Provides excellent service by using a positive and professional tone to assist members and team members accurately, thoroughly, and as efficiently as possible while maintaining consistent and friendly service. 4. Uses organizational tools and techniques to complete tasks on time and successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Service 1. Functions as a universal service provider in all member service needs; accurately and efficiently assists members with all transaction and service requests; works within given limits and authority; proactively seeks supervisory assistance as needed. 2. Employs strong communication and interview skills that discover member needs and offers credit union products and services that help make members’ lives better. 3. Takes action and acts with integrity as a member advocate; educates and advises members on options related to their personal financial matters. 4. Handles research requests; responds to member inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, loans, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies. 5. Promotes credit union products and services and actively refers members to credit union partners as appropriate. 6. Has an open mind; can conceptualize and proactively solves problems in pursuit of exemplary service to members, teammates, and the organization. 7. Is courageous and willing to make decisions that result in positive member outcomes. Development 1. Actively participates in organizational projects and promotions; maintains thorough knowledge of credit union products, services, rates, and partnerships. 2. Assists with mentoring Associate Relationship Specialists; Eagerly assists teammates while demonstrating and encouraging a one team spirit. 3. Suggests and participates in credit union community service opportunities and events. 4. Maintains a working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC), and complies with all laws and regulations applicable to area of responsibility. 5. Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality. 6. Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by Supervisor to achieve the goals of the department and the Credit Union.
