Job Description
Exciting Float Pool Opportunity for Experienced Nurses!

Job Description:
- Join a dynamic float pool team providing exceptional nursing care.
- Deliver care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Provide high-quality care to diverse patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Psychiatric, and Telemetry.
- Requirements:
- ACLS certification required.
- Telemetry strip self-study upon acceptance. Basic Dysrhythmia test during orientation must be passed.
- Estimated workweek: 36 hours, with potential overtime.
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.
- Experience with EPIC EMR in a similar unit within the last 12 months is mandatory.
- Responsibilities:
- Float to various non-critical care inpatient units at West Burlington Campus, and potentially to Fort Madison or Henry County campuses.
- Possible floating to Behavioral Health and the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients.
- Critical care experience may lead to floating in CCU or ICU.
- While regular call rotation is not required, be prepared for occasional call during low census periods.
- Quick response time: must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in.

Credentials:
- License/Certificate Verification required for onboarding.
- Personal health history documentation, including:
- Influenza Vaccine
- COVID-19 Vaccine
- MMR
- TB Test
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Fit Test
- Tdap
- Background checks and skills checklist are part of onboarding requirements.
- GRH references and resume are necessary for submission.
