Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

Certified Nurse AssistantCross Keys Village is a well established Long Term Care facility operating in New Oxford PA. Staff will be expected to follow instructions from assigned supervisors and perform assigned tasks in a professional manner.Duties/Responsibilities:– Provide direct patient/resident care in a long-term care setting under direction of nursing staff– Assist with ADLs (bathing, grooming, mobility, etc.) and support daily care routines– Monitor and report changes in condition (including vital signs) to the supervising nurse– Help maintain a safe, clean resident environment and follow facility rules/policies– Accurately document care and patient interactions– Remain up to date on best practices and conduct research on resiliency in the long-term care setting, using the results to inform the development and implementation of best practices across the program.The job duties are flexible and subject to change depending upon operational needsRequired Skills/Abilities:– Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.– Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team.– Excellent communication and time management skills.– Must be able to successfully complete the AMI Credentialing Process.– Proficiency in technology including Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Office.– Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time– Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a variety of stakeholders including long term care facilities, community members, and AMI clinicians, program managersEducation & Experience:– Minimum 1 year experience in Long Term Care Communities, not all of which is Agency– Minimum 2 years healthcare experience.– Experience providing health education and training– Active unrestricted Pennsylvania license/certification.Additional Requirements:– Must be able to work in a safe manner following all safety rules and regulations.
