As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily care needs while promoting a safe, respectful, and patient-centered environment. Working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will provide hands-on care, monitor resident well-being, and help ensure the highest quality of life for those entrusted to your care. Key Responsibilities Provide basic nursing and personal care in accordance with established procedures and applicable state and federal regulations while supporting resident independence and quality of life. Deliver compassionate, respectful care while protecting residents' rights, dignity, and privacy. Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the appropriate nursing supervisor. Accurately document care and services provided using the facility's electronic care tracking system. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment while following established infection prevention and safety protocols. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Current enrollment in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry Minimum of 1 year of experience at long-term care facility. Current BLS Certification (must include hands-on component) MatrixCare experience preferred, EHR required. Successful completion of all pre-employment requirements, incl background check and drug screen. Compassionate communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. Ability to accurately collect, document, and communicate patient information. Understanding of behavioral health and age-related care considerations. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
