The Gardens at Gettysburg is seeking personable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. CNAs provide essential resident care and services focused on meeting the personal needs, comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Shifts Available

Full-Time & Part-Time

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Every other weekend required

12-Hour CNA Shifts

• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Eligible for shift differential after 2:00 PM

• Only required to work every 3rd weekend

Part-Time Hour Options

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Rate: $21.00–$23.00 per hour

CNA Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with therapeutic, neurological, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs, as applicable

• Provide nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures

• Maintain the safety, dignity, and well-being of residents

• Follow the direction of the Charge Nurse and actively participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming in accordance with established care plans

• Assist residents with getting out of bed and participating in activities according to their care plans

• Interact with residents, family members, coworkers, clinical staff, and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner

• Perform additional duties as assigned in accordance with resident care plans

CNA Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

• Must have successfully completed a state-approved CNA training program and required examination

• Must provide documentation of CNA certification upon application

• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and dependable approach to resident care
