About the Position

We are seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in a high-volume ambulatory surgery center . This position offers full-time weekday coverage with no call , providing predictable scheduling and excellent work-life balance.

The CRNA will provide anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties and work within a medical direction model of 1:3 . Candidates must be comfortable handling a fast-paced outpatient environment, with a strong focus on orthopedic cases.

Schedule Details:

• Full-time coverage
• 5 days per week (5 x 8-hour shifts)
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• No call required

Clinical Scope Includes:

• Independently managing anesthesia care from pre-op to PACU
• Providing anesthesia services for orthopedic, gynecologic, ophthalmologic, endoscopic, ENT, dental, and general surgery cases
• Working with pediatric and adult patient populations
• Collaborating with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure safe, efficient care

Average daily case volume ranges from 6–15 patients , depending on room assignment.

Requirements

CRNA certification required
Active Pennsylvania CRNA license
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Experience in outpatient and ambulatory surgery settings preferred

Comfortable with:
General anesthesia
Regional techniques
High-volume orthopedic cases

Ability to work effectively within a medical direction model (1:3)
Epic EMR experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
