About the Position

Seeking a Locum Anesthesiologist to provide full time anesthesia coverage at an ambulatory surgery center in Hanover, PA.

• • • Assignment begins November 30, 2026
• • • Coverage through March 31, 2027
• • • Full time Monday through Friday schedule
• • • No call requirements
• • • Mixture of medical direction & own cases
• • • Supported by CRNAs
• • • Broad outpatient surgical case mix
• • • No cardiac or OB cases
• • • EPIC EMR

‍⚕️ Job Responsibilities

• • • Provide anesthesia care for outpatient surgical patients
• • • Medically direct CRNAs
• • • Perform own anesthesia cases as needed
• • • Provide anesthesia for orthopedic procedures
• • • Perform regional anesthesia / blocks for orthopedic cases
• • • Manage patients across the perioperative period
• • • Provide safe anesthesia assessment & management
• • • Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs & surgical staff
• • • Monitor patient recovery & address perioperative needs
• • • Document anesthesia care in EPIC

Requirements

• • • MD or DO specializing in Anesthesiology
• • • Board Certified in Anesthesiology required
• • • Board Eligible candidates are not accepted
• • • Active Pennsylvania medical license required
• • • IMLC LOQ accepted
• • • DEA required
• • • ACLS required
• • • BLS required
• • • PALS required
• • • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• • • Strong orthopedic anesthesia experience required
• • • Regional anesthesia / block experience required

• • • Monday through Friday
• • • 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• • • 30 minute lunch
• • • Full time coverage
• • • No call
• • • No weekends
• • • Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
