Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant
Contractor for a term of 3 months to fill a temporary gap in team resources. Primary responsibilities include:
- Preparation of the annual audited financial statements
- Preparation of bank regulatory filings (e.g., Call Report, FR Y-9C)
- Coordination and completion of financial statement audit requests
- Assistance with the preparation of board financial packages
- Ensuring accounting procedures are documented and updated
- Performing other tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Financial reporting experience (banking preferred)
- 2 - 4 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Public accounting experience
- CPA certification/candidate
- Regulatory reporting experience
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Good leadership and project management skills
