The Mechanical Equipment and Modeling Specialist is a key technical position focused on the practical application of solid mechanics theory through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other calculation methods for supporting the mechanical design and analysis of pressure vessels, specialty process equipment, internals, and piping system components. Specific areas include elastic and creep plastic stress analysis, thermal stress analysis, fatigue, fitness-for-service/remaining life, fracture mechanics, piping vibration analysis.
