Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location. Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with campus contacts when needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe student and visitor activity, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines. Support campus operations during classes, events, and after-hours periods by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with security-related concerns as appropriate. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
