As a Security Officer Medical Center Patrol in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to control access, verify credentials when required, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with directional guidance, de-escalating routine issues when possible, and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital-required vaccines are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
