Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Required Certifications RN CA license ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS Cardiac Cath Lab 2 year exp exp Shift Notes 0700-1530, M-F with rotating call Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Call: Weeknight call 3:30 PM–7:00 AM; weekend 24/7 rotating call (typically every 3rd weekend); 30-minute response time Call volume: Approximately 10 shifts/month, though travelers may get fewer because staff prefer call Experience: Minimum 2 years specialty experience Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; RCIS preferred but not required Clinical: Cath/EP, PCI, pacemakers, STEMI, diagnostic cases; TAVR/Watchman and structural experience preferred Responsibilities: May need to pre-op/recover patients and take total-patient-care assignments EMR/equipment: Epic preferred/required depending on role; techs may use Epic, McKesson, Philips, Siemens Orientation: 2–3 shifts depending on experience Floating: Not required Dress: Scrubs provided RTO: Must be submitted with the initial presentation; no RTO after presentation CHOMP submission must include: Epic experience — yes/no; if yes, when last used Email address Interview availability Nicotine/cotinine: Must test negative unless there is a legitimate prescribed nicotine-patch explanation submitted for review.
