Step into a dynamic school-based contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position, situated near Bensalem, PA, offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population from August through June, providing direct therapy services to students with multiple disabilities, including those who are blind or visually impaired.

Your expertise will make a lasting impact as you guide students across a mixed-age caseload of 22, delivering individualized teletherapy and in-person sessions. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM, making it ideal for professionals dedicated to empowering young learners within an educational setting.

Qualifications:

• Valid CCC-SLP or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility to obtain
• Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy preferred
• Background in teletherapy or willingness to learn virtual platforms
• Strong understanding of working with children with multiple disabilities, including those who are blind or visually impaired
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students with a variety of needs, focusing on those with visual impairments and multiple disabilities
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure holistic care and progress
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and contribute to IEP development
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional growth activities
