Powersports Technician

Riva  Motorsports in Key Largoo, FL is a World Class Powersports Superstore located in sunny South Florida. Riva is actively seeking an experienced Powersports  technician, Please read the following before considering applying. If you can’t confirm ALL of the following, your application will not be considered

• MUST BE A NON SMOKER!!
• Reliable, honest, good work ethics
• Responsible
• Dealer experience is preferred “A or B” Tech.
• Familiar with warranty procedures and flat rate
• Speak, Read and write legibly in English on a repair order
• Know the 3 C’s
• Be able to read and decipher the factory service manuals, following the diagnostic charts and look up proper specs.
• Be able to purge a water flooded engine
• Knowledge of compression and leak down tests and proper readings
• Be familiar with electrical diagnosis, using a digital volt meter, checking voltages, voltage drops, parasitic draws, resistances,  a/c stator output,  min/max values and comparing them to the proper specs in the factory service manual.
• Proficient in removing an engine from Watercraft, properly rebuilding the entire engine, including cylinder head, driveline and jet pump, re-install, water test and be able to stand behind your work from any defects from your work.
• Be familiar with B.U.D.S. and its updates
• Be proficient in drilling, tapping and extracting broken and rusted hardware
• Familiar with riveting and replacing body panels and moldings
• Familiar with removing upper decks on non fixed hull SeaDoos
• Have own tools.
• Be able to properly diagnose and repair any part of the watercraft
