We just hope you are as non-traditional and eager to prove yourself as we are!Your key responsibilities are to deliver white glove service and honor the FSG Principles while:Assisting with recording basic accounting entries and learning how to work with both cash and accrual activitySupporting the team in tracking investment activity and helping prepare performance reportsReconciling cash balances and assisting in identifying and resolving discrepanciesHelping prepare schedules for management fees, allocations, and other fund-related calculationsAssisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, investor notices, and tax schedulesCollaborating with colleagues and third-party providers such as auditors and tax teamsParticipating in team learning opportunities and supporting onboarding of future hireOur requirements for you as an applicant are simple:A degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field (or equivalent coursework/experience)A basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge is a plus, but not required)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailClear and professional written communicationWillingness to learn fund concepts like fees, capital activities, and industry best practicesComfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)Interest in learning fund administration software (training will be provided)If you excel in your responsibilities and fulfill your requirements, our commitment to you is:Comprehensive benefitsBase salary commensurate with experience and success: The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000Quarterly bonus that offers unlimited potential growth - 1/3rd of our profits (no matter how much) are shared with our team in bonuses each quarterWe are primarily a remote work company, but some of the training for this role may be best delivered in-person leveraging client sites or local coworking locations. Our clients also ask us to provide on-site support from time-to-time.
