Hospital Surgical Rep. Allergan Aesthetics, Chicago W, IL

AbbVie seeks a Hospital Surgical Representative to drive sales of Allergan Medical plastic surgery products including implants and tissue matrices. The role involves meeting sales targets, conducting product demonstrations, and building relationships with surgeons and hospital decision-makers in the Chicago area.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed ongoing sales targets for Allergan plastic surgery and tissue matrix products
• Conduct product in-servicing and evaluations leading to customer conversions
• Prospect and develop relationships with surgeons, materials managers, and purchasing administrators
• Increase account penetration by identifying opportunities for new surgical procedures using Allergan products
• Manage competitor knowledge, identify decision makers, and influence purchasing decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business field, or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 3 years surgical or specialty sales experience
• Surgical sales, hospital sales, and buy-and-bill model experience preferred
• Knowledge of general, plastic, and/or colorectal surgery procedures
• Strong communication, presentation, and computer skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
• Knowledge of operating room etiquette, sterile techniques, and medical device manufacturing
