Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Rye, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing visitor access, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will use computer or tablet systems to support badge and access procedures, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.68 - $18.68 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor logs and other required documentation. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Report access-control concerns, unusual activity, and maintenance-related issues according to site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
