Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse PCU Float

Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), with a weekend requirement of every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Floating required to PCU, Medical-Surgical, and Emergency Department for boarding patients. 4th shift requirement as needed.

Requirements

• 2 years of PCU RN experience
• Active California RN License
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS. NIHSS preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• No pending licenses; must be active at the time of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals requiring monitoring and intervention
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and conditions
• Implement and manage nursing care plans
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimum patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and plans of care
• Meet regulatory and compliance standards in practice
