LVN / LPN - Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Description

Job Summary:
Replace and administer flu vaccines in a family clinic setting, ensuring compliance with health standards. Provide patient care support with additional clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Administer flu vaccines and other immunizations accurately and efficiently.
Collect blood samples and perform phlebotomy procedures as required.
Document patient information and vaccination data in medical records.
Assist clinicians with clinical tasks and patient care activities.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding vaccination procedures and pre/post-care instructions.

Qualifications:

Hold current NYS licensure as an LVN or LPN.
Demonstrate at least 1 year of internal medicine experience.
Possess recent pediatrics (PEDS) clinical experience.
Be BLS certified and maintain up-to-date credentials.
Have phlebotomy experience and skills in blood collection.
Ability to work in a family clinic environment and follow protocols.
