Overnight Stocking Coach, Non-Complex, Management (USA) Location: 474 Boston Post Rd, North Windham, CT 06256-1052, United States of America Position Summary Overnight Stocking Coach, Non-Complex, Management position responsible for leading, developing, and training store associates, managing store financial performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving exceptional customer service standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop teams by teaching training, actively listening to associates, and providing feedback. Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, merchandising, and company direction. Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions. Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, following the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Drive the financial performance and sales for designated store area by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes to achieve sales and profit goals. Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and providing recognition. Build a high‑performing team that embraces differences, fosters belonging, and supports continuous learning. Ensure compliance with company policies, Open Door Policy, and ethical standards. Communicate goals and objectives, build accountability, measure progress, and identify improvement opportunities. Required Minimum Qualifications 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training. For facilities that sell only ammunition with state requirements, successful completion of a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility. Must attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or equivalent. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership or similar. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, with responsibilities for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
