Description

American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer for a General/Vascular Ultrasound position requiring at least 1 year of experience and at least one completed travel contract.

Details

• Regional ultrasound department serving all age groups
• Adult exams include general ultrasound, abdomen, renal, pelvis, and OB exams across all trimesters, BPPs, and breast imaging
• Pediatric exams include renal, pylorus, hip, and echoencephalogram studies
• Vascular department is separate and not part of this role
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend and on-call coverage only required for PTO or call-outs
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Level 2 trauma center

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of sonographer experience required
• At least one completed travel contract required
• RDMS and RVT required, or ARRT(S) accepted if RDMS is not held (10+ years of experience required in that case)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Logic E10 experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must not have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical expertise as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• May be required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
