About the Role:

Join A PLACE OF SERENITY INC as a Direct Support Professional, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care and support, ensuring our clients thrive in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities to promote independence and dignity.
Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in need.
Implement personalized care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Administer medications and monitor health conditions as required.
Facilitate social and recreational activities to enhance client engagement.
Document client progress and communicate effectively with team members.
Ensure a safe and clean living environment for all clients.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
Commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
