Job Location: Brazosport - Lake Jackson, TX 77566 Education Level: Associates Degree Job Category: Education Job Summary Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part‑time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College. Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part‑time basis. Academic departments will contact potential applicants when there are available openings. Reports to the Division Chair of Mechanical and Construction Technologies; teaches H.A.R.T. classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods. Job Duties Reports to the Division Chair of Mechanical and Construction Technologies Teaches Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods CCPI College benefits do not accrue with this part‑time position. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology from a regionally accredited college or university Minimum of three years of non‑teaching wage earning experience in the occupational field Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods Excellent written and oral communication skills Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration Desirable Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Physical Demands Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, hearing, and talking. #J-18808-Ljbffr
