The Vocational Electives Supervisor is responsible for the leadership, coordination, and oversight of New Freedom's Vocational Electives Program. This role leads staff and programming focused on workforce readiness, vocational training, career development, and employment preparation. Working closely with treatment teams, employers, workforce partners, and community organizations, the Vocational Electives Supervisor helps members develop job skills, achieve employment goals, and successfully transition into the workforce.

• Leading daily Vocational Electives Program operations and workforce readiness initiatives
• Supervising, developing, and supporting Vocational Electives Specialists and assigned staff
• Developing and maintaining vocational curriculum, training materials, and workforce readiness programming
• Monitoring member participation, skill development, employment readiness, and workforce outcomes
• Building and maintaining relationships with employers, workforce agencies, educational providers, and community partners
• Supporting employment placement efforts and career pathway development
• Monitoring program quality, compliance requirements, KPIs, and performance outcomes
• Collaborating with clinical, reentry, employment, and community-based services to support member success

• Behavioral Health Paraprofessional (BHPP) designation (Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) designation preferred)
• High school diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health, Education, Workforce Development, Human Services, Business, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Experience developing curriculum, training programs, workforce-readiness initiatives, or educational content
• Knowledge of workforce development, vocational programming, employment services, and workplace readiness practices
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic documentation systems
• Two years or more of supervisory, leadership, or program coordination experience preferred
• Three years or more of workforce development, vocational services, employment support, behavioral health, training, or education experience preferred
• Experience working with justice-involved, recovery, reentry, or behavioral health populations preferred
• Experience managing employer partnerships, workforce programs, or community relationships preferred
• Peer and Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) Certification preferred

• Frequent use of computers, training materials, workforce databases, and reporting systems
• Occasional lifting and movement of training materials and supplies up to 20 pounds
