Maintenance Custodian Associate

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, your responsibilities include ensuring a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This role requires you to be constantly on your feet and to maintain a positive attitude so that customers have a great experience from start to finish. What You’ll Do Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, hazardous material handling, steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Cleans all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment. Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Environmental Sustainability Program. Maintain appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and replenish supplies when levels are low. Success Factors You thrive in fast‑paced environments. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, such as schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
