Position Summary: Shermco Industries is seeking a General Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Austin location ($20M/15+ people). Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring smooth processes, and identifying improvement opportunities. The role requires close collaboration with other departments to meet company goals. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, with ideally 5 years of engineering experience and 5 years of operations/general management experience, including P&L ownership. Responsibilities Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures. Ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. Identify areas for improvement and implement new strategies to increase productivity. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with other departments to align and meet all goals. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required. Ideally 10 years of engineering and management experience, including P&L ownership. High level of energy and enthusiasm. Strong leadership and management skills. Business development and customer interfacing experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Pay Range USD $150,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
