At Tomahawk Power , we manufacture and distribute heavy‑duty, high‑performance power equipment and machinery. We are a fast‑growing company built on reliability, speed, and continuous improvement. Our headquarters in Miramar runs a high‑velocity 25,000 sq. ft. facility. We push out 15 to 20 LTL freight shipments and around 40 parcels every single day. We operate a tight, optimized footprint, and we are looking for a logistics powerhouse to take full command of our warehouse floor. We believe in eliminating waste, making small daily improvements, and fixing what bugs us. We don’t want a clipboard holder who sits in an office looking at spreadsheets all day. We need an active leader who loves organizing the floor, labeling for efficiency, empowering their team, and finding ways to make our workflows smoother and faster every single day. Your Scorecard: The KPIs You Will Own You will be directly responsible for leading the team (5‑6 people) to hit and maintain the following operational standards: On‑Time Shipping: 100% execution. Every LTL and Parcel order received before noon must go out the same day. Order Accuracy: Maintain an Order Defect rate of less than 0.05% (fewer than 0.05% of orders shipped incorrectly). Carrier Protection: Maintain a Carrier/Order Defect rate of less than 1.5% for product damage in transit. You will hold carriers accountable and choose partners that protect our freight. Inventory Accuracy: Maintain physical‑to‑system inventory accuracy of greater than 99.5% via rigorous cycle counting. Backorder Resolution Velocity: 100% same‑day fulfillment on all backordered items once stock is received. Zero "inventory‑available" backorders allowed to age past 24 hours in NetSuite. Labor Management & Daily Floor Requirements You will manage, schedule, and hold your team accountable to the following daily throughput metrics: LTL Shipping Station: Ensure your LTL Shipper hits the benchmark of shipping up to 15 LTLs a day independently. Parcel Shipping Station: Ensure your Parcel Shipper picks, packs, and ships 35+ orders a day independently. RTV (Return to Vendor/Merchant): Oversee the flow of receiving and moving 6 pieces of equipment per day from returned status to refurbished or new. Mechanical/Refurb Station: Supervise shop throughput based on our SKU‑specific assembly and repair metrics. What You’ll Do Every Day Negotiate Carrier Rates & Quality: You will directly negotiate shipping rates and service level agreements (SLAs) with LTL and parcel carriers. You don't just chase the lowest bid; you balance cost savings with freight protection to keep transit damage below our 1.5% threshold. Procure & Manage Warehouse Supplies: Take full ownership of sourcing and negotiating bulk pricing for all packaging and shipping consumables (corrugated boxes, pallets, heavy‑duty shrink wrap, banding, labels). Monitor inventory levels of supplies closely to eliminate waste and reduce costs. Command the Dock & NetSuite: Pair NetSuite data integrity with physical floor flow. Ensure all wave picks, pack lists, and receipts are scanned and logged digitally in real time to secure our 99.5%+ inventory accuracy. Optimize 25k Sq. Ft. via Lean: Apply 2‑Second Lean principles to eliminate wasted movement, maximize vertical racking, and keep staging areas entirely clear so our daily volume moves smoothly without bottlenecking. Lead & Audit the Crew: Train, mentor, and hold your small warehouse team accountable to their daily individual throughput goals while maintaining a safe, high‑performance environment. A Proven Negotiator: You have a track record of negotiating rates with major freight lines and managing vendor relationships for warehouse supplies. You know how to leverage volume to protect the bottom line. A NetSuite Veteran: You have direct, hands‑on experience navigating NetSuite’s fulfillment, inventory, and warehouse modules. Minimum 3 years of experience using NetSuite (5+ years preferred). A Metrics‑Driven Leader: You thrive when given clear boundaries and targets.
