MRI Technologist
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a contract position in a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a valid New York State license and relevant certifications. This position offers a daytime schedule with no weekend or holiday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations on patients, ensuring quality images and patient safety.
- Administer contrast media as required and ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members regarding procedures.
- Prepare and maintain MRI equipment, and manage related documentation.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other medical staff to provide optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI.
- Current ARRT-R and BLS certifications are required.
- Active MRI certification is mandatory.
- Valid New York State license must be held upon start.
Schedule
This is a Day Shift position, scheduled from 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
