Director, Clinical Development (MD)

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and medical monitoring for one or more clinical trials in neurology and autoimmune disease
- Contribute to clinical study design and implementation, including early-phase and proof-of-concept trials
- Draft and review protocols, investigator brochures, clinical study reports, and regulatory documents
- Participate in investigator meetings, site engagement, and site initiation activities
- Support regulatory submissions and provide clinical input on health authority interactions
Requirements
- MD or DO degree required
- 2-5 years clinical, scientific, or drug development experience in biopharma or healthcare
- Working knowledge of clinical trial design, protocol development, and Good Clinical Practice
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurology preferred
- Experience with Phase 1, Phase 1b/2, or proof-of-concept studies preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, scientific rigor, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function effectively in cross-functional, matrixed team environments
Compensation: Bay Area: $261,375–$338,250; Other US Locations: $237,575–$307,450
