No previous automotive sales experience is preferred.

Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurants, wireless sales, banking, insurance, or other customer-facing environments can be an excellent foundation for this position.

$4,000 per month on-boarding guarantee for your first 3 months.

The on-boarding period includes structured training in:

• Clark Chevrolet's sales process
• Chevrolet product knowledge
• Customer needs analysis
• Vehicle presentations and walk-arounds
• Demonstration drives
• CRM and lead management
• Phone and customer communication
• Appointment setting
• Follow-up techniques
• Objection handling
• Negotiation and closing fundamentals
• Professional vehicle delivery

The on-boarding guarantee is subject to the terms of the Clark Chevrolet compensation plan, including attendance, training participation, CRM activity, and performance requirements.

Expected annual compensation: $60,000$90,000.

After the on-boarding period, compensation is primarily performance-based, giving Sales Representatives the opportunity to increase their earnings through individual sales performance.

Complete compensation and on-boarding guarantee terms will be reviewed during the interview and hiring process.

As an Automotive Sales Representative, you will guide customers through the vehicle purchasing process while developing the skills necessary to achieve individual sales and customer satisfaction objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Professionally greet and assist dealership customers.
• Build rapport and identify customer needs and priorities.
• Conduct a complete customer needs analysis.
• Assist customers in selecting new Chevrolet and pre-owned vehicles.
• Learn and maintain Chevrolet product knowledge.
• Conduct professional vehicle presentations and walk-arounds.
• Accompany customers on demonstration drives.
• Assist with gathering information for customer trade appraisals.
• Work with sales management to present purchase options.
• Professionally respond to customer questions and concerns.
• Ask for the sale and involve management when appropriate.
• Complete required Manager TOs for applicable unsold customers.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer information in the CRM.
• Complete assigned CRM activities each day.
• Make outbound customer calls.
• Follow up by phone, text, and email.
• Set and confirm customer appointments.
• Follow up with unsold showroom customers.
• Develop repeat and referral customers.
• Conduct professional vehicle deliveries.
• Complete post-sale customer follow-up.
• Participate in sales meetings, coaching, training, and role-play.
• Follow dealership policies and customer information security requirements.

Clark Chevrolet provides training and coaching, but each Sales Representative is responsible for applying that training and producing measurable results.

Performance expectations include:

• Progress toward 12 or more retail vehicle sales per month
• Consistent outbound prospecting and follow-up
• 95100% completion of assigned CRM activities
• Accurate documentation of customer interactions
• 100% follow-up with applicable unsold customers
• Consistent appointment setting and confirmation
• 100% completion of required Manager TOs
• Professional customer communication
• Achievement of dealership and Chevrolet customer satisfaction standards
• Full participation in required training and coaching

Management may adjust individual activity expectations based on experience, customer traffic, lead volume, closing performance, and development needs.

Successful Sales Representatives are expected to consistently perform activities that create sales opportunities, including:

• Outbound customer calls
• Customer phone, text, and email follow-up
• Appointment setting
• Appointment confirmation
• Unsold customer follow-up
• Previous customer follow-up
• Referral prospecting
• CRM task completion
• Product training
• Sales coaching
• Role-play

Sales Representatives are expected to build and maintain their own customer pipeline in addition to assisting customers who contact or visit the dealership.

Automotive sales experience is not required and candidates without previous automotive sales experience are preferred.
